About the Santa Barbara Ski & Sports Club
 

Mission Statement
The mission of the Santa Barbara Ski and Sports Club is to bring local residents together to enjoy the many year-round social and physically challenging events and trips in a positive environment.

This non-profit club began as a skiing club only in 1955 but has evolved to a full summer and winter sports club with a very diverse schedule of ski, social and sports events. Membership is limited to adults over the age of 21, who enjoy sharing a positive view of life, are physically active, enjoy meeting new friends, and like to have fun in a variety of arenas.

Purpose of our Club
The purpose of the Santa Barbara Ski and Sports Club is to further the skiing enjoyment and proficiency of its members through informative and entertaining meetings, ski trips, club racing and other winter sports. Social events are provided to encourage fellowship among ski enthusiasts. It is a totally nonprofit club and does not benefit any individual financially.

This website is for the benefit of the club's members and those who may be interested in joining the club. Nothing contained herein should be considered to be an advertisement to sell goods or services.

Membership

Membership in the Santa Barbara Ski and Sports Club is open to all persons twenty-one years of age or older who are interested in skiing, who wish to participate in the activities of the club, and who agree to abide by its rules, regulations and policies. Meetings

S. B. Ski & Sports Club meetings are held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays each month, 7:30 –9:00 pm, September – April at the Chase Palm Park Recreation Center, 236 E. Cabrillo Blvd. on the ocean side of Cabrillo Blvd. across from the carousel.
